Comak Bros. Is a full service 44 Y.O. landscape firm offering landscape design, installation and maintenance services in the North shore / Metro Boston area. We seek an experienced gardener to join our team and assist in all aspects of garden installation and maintenance services. This is a full-time, year-round position. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Responsibilities: *Maintenance and installation of annuals, Perennials,ground-covers, and herbs at both high end residential and commercial properties. *Maintenance of Trees, shrubs (15’ or smaller) Tasks include: *pruning, transplanting, deadheading, weeding, raking, organic fertilization of garden beds *Installation of small in-ground gardens (no construction or hardscape) and container gardens *Daily completion of work orders through our Single ops system for billing purposes Required Qualifications: • 2 years gardening experience, plant knowledge, and general horticultural knowledge. • Highly skilled in hand pruning of shrubs and small trees with perennial maintenance skills • Container planting experience • Holiday decorating • Ability to work in inclement weather (Heat, humidity, rain, snow, cold) • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50lbs of material • MA driver’s license with an excellent driving record. • Possess a positive outlook • enjoy beautifying the world on a daily basis Salary: $25.00 to $30 per hour, commensurate with experience to start.
