Join Friends of Lombardi for a relaxed evening of food and drink to mingle with fellow D.C. metro area young professionals. We are excited to share our vision for 2022 and highlight various initiatives as we grow the Board of Directors. Friends of Lombardi (FOL) is a group of young professionals in the D.C. Metro Area committed to supporting Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center’s mission to prevent, treat, and cure cancers by linking scientific discovery, expert and compassionate patient care, quality education, and partnership with the community; guided by the principle of cura personalis, "care for the whole person." Please note: All attendees for this event must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and, effective January 21, 2022, have received a COVID-19 vaccine booster shot, or attest to having a religious or medical exemption. Attendees who attest to having an exemption or who are under the age of 12 will need to take a COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours prior to the event and provide their negative test results. Georgetown Lombardi, Washington's only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, serves as the research engine for MedStar Health, Georgetown University's clinical partner. Georgetown Lombardi is alson an NCI-recognized research consortium with John Theurer Cancer Center/Hackensack Meridian Health.
