Press release from the City of Golden Valley: August 7, 2020 Due to increased deterioration and foot and bike hazards, the City of Golden Valley will reconstruct the Laurel Ave Greenbelt Trail, just south of Louisiana Ave to Laurel Ave between the East and west ring roads, beginning Aug 17. The trail will be closed for approximately two weeks, weather dependent. A total reconstruction of the trail is being considered as part of the City's Capital Improvement Plan.
