The City's Parks and Recreation Department is constantly adding new programs to its catalog. Don't forget to check out it's wide range of virtual, take-home programs, and in-person programs like Skyhawks Basketball Camp and Active Solutions Fitness and Mind.
Skyhawks Basketball Camp – Ages 3–10 This skill-focused program is designed with the beginner player in mind. Using our progressive curriculum and focusing on the whole player, participants will learn how to dribble, pass, and shoot. Our sport specific staff will focus on respect, teamwork, and responsibility as they will start each day with a 'skill of the day.' Participants will progress into drills and games making for an unforgettable camp experience.
Register by Nov 2.
Active Solutions Fitness and Mind – Ages 8–11 1/2 This program will focus on recreational fitness with an emphasis on mindset through fun and engaging movement and games, led by Coach Rumen, a two-time world record athlete. Classes will take place outside rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. In the event of inclement weather, class will be cancelled.
