I am a new beekeeper, looking to do my share for pollinators by growing my apiary in the Hendricks/Boone County area. If you know of a possible location to host some hives for the 2022 Season, I would like to check it out. Empty lots, fallow/wooded areas, hedgerows/windbreaks, areas bordering open areas/meadows/fields, and available water sources all make for prime areas. Hives will need to be accessible for routine inspections and maintenance throughout the Season. Please help do your part in encouraging pollinators necessary for so many of our flowering and food producing plants.
