Create your own zoetrope and animation! Combining art, science and engineering, you will both make a zoetrope device and create the drawings Zoetropes pre-date film animation. They create an animated image as a viewer looks through the slits in a spinning cylinder and the brain fills in motion between drawings. During this program, you will both make a zoetrope device and create the drawings to be animated. For students in grades 2-5.
