Description

Enjoy a socially-distanced evening watching your favorite movies, outdoors under the Texas sky. Shakespeare Dallas presents Movies in the Park! An outdoor screening at the Samuell-Grand Amphitheater of 10 Things I Hate About You (97 mins.)! Kat Stratford (Julia Stiles) is beautiful, smart and quite abrasive to most of her fellow teens, meaning that she doesn't attract many boys. Unfortunately for her younger sister, Bianca (Larisa Oleynik), house rules say that she can't date until Kat has a boyfriend, so strings are pulled to set the dour damsel up for a romance. Soon Kat crosses paths with handsome new arrival Patrick Verona (Heath Ledger). Will Kat let her guard down enough to fall for the effortlessly charming Patrick? Gates will open at 7:30pm and our movie starts at 8:15pm. Guests will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis. Here are a few tips to make the most of Movies in the Park: • We encourage guests to bring a blanket, lawn chairs and pack a picnic. Sand chairs are available to rent. • Those 21 and over can bring and consume beer or wine (responsibly, of course) at the Amphitheater. • Free parking is available. • Tickets are $15.00 if pre-ordered and $20.00 at the gate. We have 1 "VIP Pavilion" section open each night at $175. This allows for up to 10 guests to sit in our central, covered seating area. The pavilion includes off-ground seating and counter space for ample picnicking! • Concessions are available and there is an option of food delivery (please meet your delivery driver outside of the gates). • For Discounted tickets for Military, Student or Senior patrons please email [email protected] and provide a photo of your ID. Love. Family. Ambition. Betrayal. At Shakespeare Dallas we’ve been bringing timeless themes like these to life for almost 50 years. As North Texas’ leading professional theatre company performing the works of William Shakespeare, we believe that Shakespeare is for everyone. That means providing fun and accessible indoor and outdoor theatre, integrated school programs and cultural enrichment for people of all ages and backgrounds. For many, interacting with Shakespeare Dallas is a tradition that has crossed generations and delighted guests since our founding in 1972. Welcome to the people’s theatre.
