Press release from the City of Golden Valley: December 9, 2020 The last day to drop off gifts for the Golden Valley Fire Relief Association's (GVFRA) Be A Santa To A Senior is Dec 11. Participating in the program is easy. Visit Lund's and Byerly's in Golden Valley (5725 Duluth St). Pick an "ornament" from the tree, which lists the needs of a local senior. Put the gifts in a bag and drop the gift back at Lund's and Byerly's before end of day Dec 11. The GVFRA takes it from there and delivers the gifts to two care facilities in Golden Valley—Bryn Mawr and Brookview a Villa Center. For more information, visit the GVFRA website.
