Job Title: Lube Technician Job Location: Bakersfield, CA General Description: Under general supervision and direction of the Fleet Mechanic Supervisor, this performs maintenance and minor repairs of fleet vehicles. This is a safety sensitive position that is subject to pre-employment drug and alcohol testing as well as drug and alcohol testing procedures. Safety-sensitive functions are expected to be drug-free in accordance with Cal Coast Acidizing’s Workplace Drug and Alcohol Policy. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that typically works 40 hours per week plus overtime as applicable. Job Details: •Perform all automotive preventative maintenance such as changing oil, checking and refilling other vehicle fluids, replacing filters, and inspecting and replacing lights and wipers. •Maintain a clean and orderly shop. •Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner. •Work safely and efficiently. •Maintain a positive attitude and work towards learning more about CCA and our services. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: •Work is performed in all weather conditions with temperature extremes as hot as 120F or as cold as 30F. •Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and drag hoses up to 100 lbs. •Able to perform duties with provided protective equipment such as FR uniform, safety glasses, gloves, etc. Qualifications: •Must have and maintain a CA Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record—be able to present a recent DMV printout if contact for an interview. •High school diploma or equivalent required. •Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening. •Must pass a pre-employment background check with a satisfactory result. •Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License preferred but not required. •1 year of verifiable, related experience Benefits and Perks: •Vacation Pay •Sick Pay •401K Matching •Medical (Anthem + Kaiser), Dental, and Vision Insurance options •Life Insurance options (Disability, Accident, Critical Illness/Cancer, Medical Bridging included).
