Small dogs are invited to play, make new friends, and have fun together at our social! Hi everyone! We are excited to let you all know that we have successfully negotiated to rent out a private, fenced-in doggy play area at the very nice Crowne Plaza Cabana Hotel in Palo Alto. Please make sure to reserve this date and time if you would like to join! Space is limited to a maximum of 8 little dogs, maximum weight 15-16 lbs. EVENT LOCATION: Everyone must enter from El Camino Real - there is no other entrance to the property. You then drive all the way to the back of the hotel. The play area is completely visible and has a white picket fence. I will happily send you my cell phone number in case you get lost. FEE: We must pay to rent the spot. This small payment goes directly to the hotel. The hotel was kind enough to allow this small amount for our social. The hotel is sending us a basic, liability release form that we will all read/sign at the event and turn in to them as well. CANCELLATIONS: If you paid, but do not show up, there are NO refunds. This ensures that those who want to go are able to and the venue gets paid. Thank you for understanding! PARKING: There is ample, free parking available all over the property, but it would probably work best to park in the back to be closest to the doggy play area. There are 7 spots open right in the front of the doggy play area. Hopefully, most will be available on our meetup day. There are tons of spots available a few minutes walk away from the play area, no worries! GUESTS: Again, the ticket is for each dog, not person(s). Please feel free to bring one human guest. MISCELLANEOUS: We will provide fresh water bowls. The hotel will have a potty stand with doggy poo bags available as well. ***We've been working on this for a while and we will see how our first event goes here! The hotel capped us at 10 dogs (we already have two). Perhaps we will be able to increase the doggy number for the next event. We are excited to make this happen - thanks!!
