5th Annual Rhode Island Black Film Festival Environmental Justice in a Climate of Social Change The Rhode Island Black Film Festival is the only festival addressing social and racial justice issues in the state of Rhode Island. Themed ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE IN A CLIMATE OF CHANGE at venues throughout the State of Rhode Island. Across the country and here in Southern New England, communities of color face a lack of access to clean water and clean air.
