We have an opening for a gantry crane operator at our precast concrete plant. If you have previous experience operating heavy machinery such as back hoes, front-end loaders, heavy duty forklifts, etc., then this job will be perfect for you! We offer in-house training to run the gantry based on your level of experience. A basic understanding of diesel maintenance and chain rigging are also positives for this job. The duties for the gantry operator are as follows: - Lift precast concrete pieces safely, and securely, from trailers and place into our storage racks - Work with the shipping manager to locate products ready to ship and load them back onto tractor trailers - Help the finishing crews by lifting a piece so that it can be sandblasted, washed, etc. - Operate the yard forklift to perform the same tasks above, but for smaller pieces We operate Monday-Friday. 7:30am-4:30pm.
