This project involves site work for a new construction building. All materials and equipment will be provided on site. The job has three parts below. Please be prepared to provide a reference and a couple of examples of similar projects that you’ve done recently. Install Utility Trench - Saw cut concrete driveway 4” thick, 2’ wide and 105’ in length - Dig utility trench 12” – 18” deep, 1’ wide and 210’ long using a walk behind trencher - Lay three 1.5” pipes, one 1” pipe, and one 2” pipe in the trench - Connect two 1.5” pipes to water meters and one 2” pipe to a 4” lateral using a fitting - Compact and backfill the trench - Pour concrete 4” thick, 2’ wide, and 18’ long (about ½ cu. yd) to repair a portion of the driveway Install Ejector Pit - Dig pit 7.5’ long x 3’ wide x 4.75’ deep - Form 6” walls around sides of pit reinforced with #4 rebar at 12” O.C. both ways - Pour concrete walls (roughly 0.4 cu yd) and strip forms - Lay 4” crushed rock base - Install grinder pump and sump pump. Connect supply, drain, and vent pipes. - Frame roof and trap door for pit Install Concrete Stairs Below Grade - Concrete staircase will consist of a 3’ x 3’ landing that is 2’6” below grade and three stair treads 3’ wide - Compact soil beneath stairs and landing (area of 23 sq. ft.) and lay waterproofing material - Form 6” retaining walls around sides of staircase and landing reinforced with #4 rebar at 12” O.C. both ways - Form staircase consist of three treads each 3’ wide - Pour concrete (roughly 1 cu. yd.) - Remove forms - Put roll on waterproofing membrane on outside of retaining walls - Backfill around staircase
