Bobby’s Spa and Pool Service, a small, family owned and operated company, located in Novato, is looking to hire a full-time pool technician immediately. We’re offering a $500.00* bonus to a qualified applicant.
What we need: An experienced technician to take over an established route, servicing pools in Marin County. You must have a valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record. You should be able to lift 40 lbs and work on your feet for hour + stretches. Someone who lives in Marin would be preferred. The majority of the work is general route work, including cleaning. Attention to detail is crucial as we also do repair work and must catch any faulty equipment before it causes damage to the client’s pool and/or spa. Unlike many other companies, our focus is on quality, rather than quantity, so rather than driving all day to do the bare minimum at many pools, you’ll be covering approximately ten per day, and spending your time actually caring for the needs of the customer.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. Extra work available on some Saturdays.
Pay: Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, with a merit raise after 90 days.
Benefits: Five paid major holidays, one week paid vacation the first two years, five paid sick days, and a 401k option.
*The signing bonus will be paid upon completion of the first 90 days, and must be repaid if you separate from the company before the first year ends.
