Kona is 11 years old and was the pampered pet of my friend who passed away in Dec 2020. She had always been the only pampered dog. I took her in and tried to rehome her last year, but she had fearful anxiety and the new home had no yard, so she's been back with me and my aging dog since then. She's calmed down a lot and it's time to take another shot at finding her a good home. She is a Mini Australian Shephard with all her AKC papers, current on all vaccines, sleeps in a crate at night, did well at for a week at a kennel with other pups but would prefer to be queen of the castle. She uses a doggy door, barks to be sure I know someone is at the door and on walks she will bark at people walking towards us. I am able to correct her with a dog whistle. She's been good at the groomer and absolutely loves to have her belly rubbed. She would be a good companion for a single retired person or someone who works from home. She needs a backyard and a nice peaceful life.
