Arizona's Birthday! Hi & Welcome! This thursday will be pretty informal, even more so than normal! We are going to be learning a bit about how Arizona came to be in honor of Arizona's Birthday! Our homeschool group is a christian group for anyone who does any kind of homeschool related learning or is interested in homeschooling, or available during that time and needs friends! We are super relaxed! In our program we meet on the second and fourth thursday of the month. The first meeting we have a volunteer parent present a lesson; subjects are usually history or science based. Then for the second meeting we encourage the children to put together a presentation that is related in some way to what was taught. This is a great oppertunity to put together presentations and work on public speaking! Children are not required to present but we do ask that we be supportive and respectful to the children who do.
