HOTEL HOUSEKEEPER --- FULL TIME AND PART TIME The Georgetown Inn in south Seattle is seeking a part-time or full-time housekeeping/laundry attendant. Our guests give us high marks for how well the rooms are cleaned and maintained and that's where you come in! We're looking for candidates who are service minded, energetic and have the ability to work well in a team environment. Duties: •Clean guest rooms, including changing the bed linens, and cleaning and replenishing the bathroom •Vacuum carpet and mop floors, dust and straighten furniture •Check the general conditions of the room and notify supervisor of any malfunction or damage to furniture or other property *Wash and fold laundry *Clean indoor and outdoor public areas of the property *Maintain employee work areas including the housekeeping closets and laundry room *Sort and empty trash, recycling and compost •Provide great guest service •Prevent loss and damage to hotel property by ensuring guest rooms and housekeeping closets are safe and secure Requirements: *Must be able to stand, walk and bend for long periods of time *Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds •Ability to work with little or no supervision •Must be available to work on weekdays, weekends and holidays. •Flexible and willing to learn all aspects of the housekeeping department •Above average attendance and positive attitude needed. •Must pass a criminal background check and provide professional references Compensation: $17.50 - $18.50 /hr DOE New hire and retention bonus – 90 day/6 month/1 year Paid time off, vacation, room discounts, performance bonuses, free parking About Us: Named one of USA Today’s 10 Best Value Hotels, the Georgetown Inn is a locally-owned boutique hotel that takes great pride in our company, our people, and our service.
