Houseplant Care 101 Indoor plants are fun to care for in the winter when the garden is dormant. In this houseplant 101 workshop, we will review the most common families and species of houseplants, nutrient, light, and watering requirements. The workshop will include a propagation demo and a free cutting or division for each attendee! South Lansing Urban Gardens is a program of South Lansing Community Development Association (SLCDA).  Our mission is to engage neighbors and stakeholders in the development and implementation of programs/initiatives that improve community health and quality of life in South Lansing. These evolve over time based on feedback from our community. Current program areas focus on healthy food access (South Lansing Urban Gardens, South Lansing Farmers Market), recreational and fitness opportunities (Hawk Island Triathlon), and individual/organizational capacity building.
