We are looking for drivers. We are local and have been around for 10 years. We are Green Ride Charter Services and are looking for part-time drivers. We are hiring for early mornings, mid days and evenings- so we can fit your schedule to help supplement your income or help keep you busy. Retirees are welcome. We office in Boulder and Longmont. We have part time jobs driving passengers in a private ride or charter ride situation. Wages are $15 per hour plus tips. Tips are good. We charge $135 for our private rides for up to 6 people. At payment we offer a pre-trip tip option when the customer makes the reservation. Kinda like Vic’s coffee, where they spin the terminal and you are staring at a choice of tip 18%, 20% Custom? So tips can boost the $15 to well over $20 per hour. For charter services we automatically build in a 15% gratuity of what we charge above and beyond what the customer may add on. We charter in 14 passenger Ford Transits which anyone can drive. Our big wedding and event shuttles are 25 to 29 passenger buses so to drive these charter vehicles one needs a commercial Driver’s License Type C with a passenger endorsement. No air brakes. If you currently drive a school bus your License is more than enough. Please note we do train divers to get their Class C commercial driver’s license- this is a conversation to be had at the job interview. We are always working on county contracts providing drivers and vehicles for their routes. These pay a much higher hourly as tips are not generally presented, and we will be hiring for that later in the year. Our summer charter dates are already selling out. We had record charter year last year and we have added shuttles to our fleet to meet this year’s demand. We are selling out days already. There is great money here for a few hours work and our drivers last year were working short hours over 2 or 3 days and making over $500 a week in tips plus wages. We realize that McDonalds is hiring at $18 plus an hour… for graveyard- read the fine print-, and that’s an option. What we are is a local business that is honest, kind, fair and transparent- plus you won’t go home with greasy hair. We know its an employee’s market right now- lots of choices so it’s your call but we are a great supplemental income opportunity. And we can work you on your schedule. Food for thought.
