Re-home or Foster Home needed! Maple, a 3-year old Blue Heeler, is a goofy, high energy dog who lives to chase a ball or a frisbee in the back yard. She is house trained and picks up new tricks lightning fast: Maple can roll, spin both directions, sit-pretty, dance, go to her spot, and can even wait with a treat in between her paws for upwards of five minutes. This little lady is SMART and very eager to please. She should not be around young children nor taken off leash in public places (ex: trails or parks). On her daily walks, Maple always wears a halti or a harness and, though she doesn’t pull significantly, she needs an owner who is able to continue to help her navigate her fears (mostly of bicycles and loud people/animals). A perfect home for Maple would include a warm spot in the sun with a cozy blanket for snoozes, access to toys to play with, and a person who wants to throw the ball for her in a fenced yard. Maple needs a new home because her current family has a new baby that Maple isn’t warming up to.
