TRUMBULL, CT — A Bethel man was killed in a single motor vehicle accident on Route 25 in Trumbull, state police said. At 9:10 p.m. Sunday, Domingo K. Gutierrez, 44, of Shelter Rock Road, was driving a 2020 Acura southbound on Route 25 in the left lane just north of exit 9, state police said. He lost control of his car and struck a tree off the roadway in the median, state police said. The car came to a stop with its front end against the tree, state police said. Gutierrez was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, state police said. The accident remains under investigation.
