CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Cleveland Heights will reopen its tennis courts to the public on July 1. Maintenance staff is installing nets on every other court to ensure social distancing. There will also be signs placed at the courts to remind players to follow health and safety guidelines. "Social distancing is still required and we ask for your continued assistance to help minimize the spread of the virus," the city said in an email to residents. Ohio health officials released a list of tips and best practices for communities reopening their tennis courts to the public. The sheet recommends maintaining regularly-cleaned restrooms or locker rooms for players, posting health and safety reminder signs and getting rid of shared water coolers. Anyone who is feeling ill should not come to the tennis courts, the state said. All visitors should follow posted health and safety guidelines.
