CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Heights High's upcoming football game against Maple Heights has been nominated for Cleveland Browns High School Football Game of the Week. The Heights Tigers are opening their season against Maple Heights in a home game in Cleveland Heights. The contest starts at 7 p.m. on Friday. Maple Heights football is 0-1 on the season after losing to St. Vincent-St. Mary High last week. If Heights High versus Maple Heights is selected for game of the week, the Browns will cover the game on their website and social media and the winning team will receive $3,000 for its football program. Fans can vote for their school to be selected online. The winning coach and game MVP will receive a custom Coach of the Week game ball and a Browns varsity letter for the MVP. At the end of the season, the Browns will announced High School Coach of the Year and the winner will receive $6,000 for the football program.
