LONG VALLEY, NJ — The Washington Township Police Department and Recreation Department have scheduled a class with limited spaces that teaches both cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of the automated external defibrillator (AED), according to information from Washington Township.
The socially-distanced American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED course taught by the Washington Township Police Department is scheduled on March 8 at 6 p.m., at 1 East Springtown Road. The deadline to register for one of limited spots in the class is March 3.
The cost to participate is $5 per student for the use of supplies, plus $20 to receive the CPR/AED course completion card at the end of the training, the township said.
