JOLIET, IL — Joliet Police Department spokesman Dwayne English announced that Sunday night's shooting along West Jefferson Street and Infantry Drive appears to be isolated in nature. Police found no shooting victims, but the Thorntons gas station's north window was struck by several of the bullets.
The shooting happened at 9:10 p.m., English indicated.
Joliet resident Bob Hernandez said he went to the scene to do one of his Facebook Live videos. He said that one of the Thorntons employees told him that nobody was injured by the gunfire.
At least six orange cones were placed on the ground across the street by the Joliet police officers.
