URGENT REQUEST we need HELP to FEED and CARE for Community Cats. There is an overpopulation crisis of Homeless Cats in Medford. Many of these cats once had homes, but many now fear humans because they were abused, neglected, and left behind by people. Due to a lack of homes and available space in rescues and shelters, these vulnerable beings are cruelly banished to the streets. Their only hope of survival depends on the kindness of people willing to feed, provide shelters, advocate for, do TNR (trap, spay and neuter, and release), and help rehome kittens and friendly cats whenever possible. We urgently need to find dependable and dedicated individuals who have experience maintaining a Community Cat Colony or are willing to learn. Duties are simple: provide food and water, monitor and patriciate in TNR (Trap, Spay, and Neuter and Release). We need people who can make a minimum one-year commitment We have already started TNR and rehoming friendly cats/kittens. If you love cats and want to make a real difference to the quality of life for Community Cats, please call . NO COMMENTS, PLEASE, ONLY SERIOUS INQUIRIES, PLEASE We need immediate help in the following locations: 1. Off the Greenway near RCC and Riverside. Daily feeding needs to be done because of the raccoons and possums prevalent. 2. Off Summit Road between McAndrews and Hwy 238. Dry food feeders need refilling four a week. Water more often, especially as the weather gets warmer. 3. Ross Lane near C.A.T.S. This colony is mostly friendly cats intermittently cared for by a Hispanic family. Because of the necessity to communicate with this cooperative family, encouraging them to feed on a more regular basis, the ability to speak or write Spanish would be most helpful. 4. On Lozier Lane across from Thunderbird. Sadly, the caretaker is dying. There are only two cats left to feed, but she's too weak to continue their care. We are trying to find a barn home, but they will need to be provided every other day until then. 5. Near Orley's Stove and Spa at Crater Lake Highway. We believe there is only a small number of cats, and we have a feeder, and this location needs to be checked every two to three days. 6. Near Bills Glass in Medford Street needs daily feeding. If you love cats and want to make a real difference in the quality of life for Community Cats, please call . NO COMMENTS, PLEASE ONLY SERIOUS INQUIRIES, PLEASE
