Description
Anti-Human Animal Coalition is a Tucson based Animal Welfare Organization that is expanding its area of assistance to the valley. We all know the valley is overwhelmed with animals and we want to try to offer our assistance.
Currently we are able to assist with
1. cats/kittens/senior cats that are friendly or are shy without being dangerous. If they are no vaccinated, spayed/neuter, seen a vet we can provide all the care needed by a licensed veterinarian.
2. Dogs up to 30 lbs that are not pit bulls/or mixes (currently have 4 fosters of this breed), that are friendly with people and other dogs. If they are no vaccinated, spayed/neuter, seen a vet we can provide all the care needed by a licensed veterinarian.
Our organization DOES NOT facilitate adoptions, what we do is offer a halfway house for animals in need of re-homing and offer a safe place while a permanent rescue is found that is reputable and has an open foster home available.
We have been operating this way for 2 years and have found that many organizations in Tucson enjoy our system as it keeps animals out of the shelter and provides them a better bio of the animals compared to shelter animals or strays (which we also take).
We would require that any owner that wants to surrender their pet be aware we will not drive up to the Phoenix area and the pets MUST be brought to Marana, AZ to meet transport and to sign the surrender form.
