About this team The MRO team consists of various senior and junior robot techs, as well as representatives of the support team, like dispatch, customer support and Field Operations (FO). Day In a Life As our robotics technician, you will play a vital role in the assembly and repair of our robots. We are looking for a technician who can work overnight preparing our robots for the next day's deployment. Your shift will start right before the robots’ shifts end, with running a quality check on each bot and repairing any damages reported throughout the day. Your main goal is to get the bots up and running, and ready to be re-deployed out into the field. Responsibilities Ensure all bots are ready for deployment daily Repair damaged bots i.e. Change tires, replace broken or damaged parts Re-charge batteries and or replace batteries Update software on bots when needed Keep a log of work performed, per bot Keep an inventory of bots as well as parts Basic Qualifications Basic experience working with mechanics Basic experience with hand tools as well as power tools Must be able to lift over 40 or more pounds Preferred Qualifications Basic computer software knowledge
