CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — State Rep. Janine Boyd is hosting a free virtual town hall on Thursday at noon.
The theme of the event is "Education and School Reopening During the 2020-2021 School Year." Participants will be able to ask questions and offer input on ways to address pressing community issues.
Boyd will be joined by a panel of experts on schools, including:
Melissa Cropper, president, Ohio Federation of TeachersMeryl Johnson, State Board of Education member, District 11Karen Thompson, Chief of Staff to CEO Eric Gordon, Cleveland Metropolitan School District David Glasner, superintendent, Shaker Heights School DistrictElizabeth Kirby, Superintendent, Cleveland Heights-University Heights School DistrictThe event is free and open to the public. The event is scheduled to last one hour.
