I have a Goffin cockatoo this is hard to say I'm needing to rehome (him) asap Roe has a mixed story. I got him Dec. 3rd 2011 I took roe to my vet and she said nope not female he was a male so we started calling him roe. He is 17yrs to 27yrs old now. (That's still very young considering they can live up to 60 plus years) I have had roe now for almost 11yrs roe still has some trust issues and some what tame but does well he still loves to pluck his chest one bad thing he has not stopped. He loves my grand daughter she's 13yrs and will let her mess with him all day and my son too we worked with him but the last two years lots has changed in our home and I have not given him the time I should... I could go on and on about roe all day a little on him too is He does bark like a dog & meows & hisses like a cat. He can say hi love you and squabble about & but only when he feels safe. My main thing I just want him to have a good home and this is hard but to be honest I feel I can not with all my life changes its not fair to him. Why I'm looking for him a new home, I'm having to down size my hole life right now. Well if you have any questions please feel free to ask like I said I'm just wanting him to have a good with someone that will give him a good home.
