Mosaic Gardens is seeking a motivated, experienced employee to complete our small, hardworking, respectful crew. We are an established landscape design/build company in our 20th year in Eugene. Our services include stonework, planting, and irrigation with an emphasis on quality and attention to detail. You can see examples of our landscapes at Mosaic-Gardens.com. The landscape construction team's work is often physical, such as digging irrigation trenches or moving soil and rock by hand, and everyone chips in. An applicant with demonstrable skill and experience, especially in irrigation, grading or planting, will have the opportunity to do more technical work at times and earn a higher wage. We work four 8-10 hour days per week, usually Monday through Thursday (3 days off!). This position begins immediately. Our construction season usually ends in November. Requirements: - One year of recent landscape construction or closely related physical, outdoor work experience. Landscape maintenance experience alone is not sufficient, sorry. - Good physical fitness, stamina and strength - Valid driver license and reliable vehicle (we have work trucks, but employees will need transportation to job site or meeting point). - Proof of COVID vaccination or willingness to begin vaccination cycle immediately.
