I think it is time for both parties to take a reality check! Jumping ahead you suggest some Leahy person I assume is a democrat should run for President instead of Biden? You say this Leahy guy has been in office since the 1970's, so he would be a fresh start? The last thing we need is anothe dinosaur politician! For Christ sake Biden first took office as a Senator in 1973 when we only had a $480 Billion national debt, today the annual interest on our national debt is $480 billion. If someone has been in office since the 1970's, or 80's, or even the 1990's, they are usually the problem, not the solution. Sure the republicans are going to use the last year against Biden for getting Trump re-elected. Biden has been a failure since he voted as a Senator for President Nixons HMO Act in 1973 and President Reagans Supply Side Economics in 1982. We all saw the mess in finally getting out of Afghanistan last August, and republicans blame Biden for it. Of course they never mention President Trump negotiated that deal with the Taliban in February of 2020. American voters are stupid, and therefore easily manipulated. 50 million people still believe all of Trumps lies the election was stolen from him. 50 million people believe the Build Back Better Act won't add any money to your national debt. Democrats are the party of tax and spend. Republicans are the party of cut taxes for the wealthy and increase spending. Our National Debt has gone up more and our federal government grown larger under Republican Administrations than Democrat based on percentage the last 70 years. Through the Bush administration both parties worked behind the scene to $crew us all over. Anyone who thinks a democrat or republican President is going to fix all the problems in a few years that both parties have caused the last 6 decades, is an idiot. We should have had a recession in 2012, but we did not because Obama extended Quantitative Easing again that Bush started in 2008 to keep the federal money flowing. Then Trump extended it again in 2018 to offset the Trade War with China he lost. Our economy seemed to do well under Trump, but the big increase we are seeing in inflation today should have started out small in 2013. The same people today blaming Biden for inflation because he is printing so much money, did not say a word when Trump did the same thing to pay for his tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy in 2018, 2019, and 2020! Why is it so hard for you kids to understand you need a viable third middle class party? And I don't mean Rep Green, she is a tin foil hat lunatic.
