Need help in the garden

Hello there! I'm a single mom just trying to get her back yard ready for a garden and chickens! I have build the chicken coop and have started the garden but have run out of funds to buy anything else. I am seeing if anyone has any soil or garden stuff they would care to donate. With the price of groceries going up we are just trying to start being self sufficient. Also I am in need of some PVC pipe and hardware cloth for our chicken run. If anyone has some they need to get rid of. Thank you so much!
