The Role: As a Digital Field Tech at Intersection, you will be deploying and maintaining our digital assets. You will work with team members from across the organization to prioritize repairs. You will be an integral part of our efforts to ensure the health of our network. This role requires a unique combination of technical understanding & skills as well as problem-solving ability. You are highly motivated, reliable and dedicated, and able to work well in a team environment. You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and you must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record. You should be comfortable working in the elements year-round and able to work flexible hours. What you will accomplish: Manage all on-site repair, maintenance, and test tasks. Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions Repair and replacement including but not limited to: Ad display Touchpad  Air intakes Electronics bay Router/access point Update device software and firmware versions as needed Produce real-time and detailed service reports of all required repairs and resolutions using ticketing system (i.e. Zendesk and SiteTraker) Report and make safe any potential safety issues encountered  Work seamlessly with partners and vendors Document repair processes for troubleshooting and repair Participate in-company training, safety meetings and other meetings and events as directed Travel to various markets in the West region, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland and Las Vegas. Work flexible hours to accommodate Transit Authority site access What we are looking for: You have proven experience working in highly-engaged, high-performing team Can demonstrate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills You are a strong communicator who communicates effectively across groups, locations and cultures, in-person and virtually Solid grasp of technical fundamentals Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision Perform non-routine duties as assigned by a supervisor Safely operate light to medium duty company trucks Ability to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend, or crawl Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds Proven field service experience Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment Ability to utilize Intersection systems and processes  Proficient in G Suite and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel Experience with ZenDesk and SiteTraker Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Able to travel up to 25% of the time Intersection is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
