CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Two people have been taken into custody in connection to the killing of a Cleveland Heights man.
On Wednesday, a 26-year-old man was shot to death at an apartment complex on Noble Road. On Friday, police took two people into custody in connection to the shooting.
A 21-year-old man from East Cleveland has been charged with aggravated murder for the shooting, Police Chief Annette Mecklenburg announced. A second person has been taken into custody but has not yet been charged.
Mecklenburg said additional charges will be filed next week.
Police are still investigating the death of Malik Moore, 23, in Cleveland Heights. He was killed on Sept. 12.
"Detectives are working around the clock to identify and locate suspects. We have stepped up patrols and increased visibility as we continue to investigate," Mecklenburg said.
