CARPENTER/FRAMER Minimum Requirements: · 3-5+ years of framing experience, particularly assembling steel framing · Experience using various construction tools and terminology · Able to follow directions from supervisors and read blueprints · Works well in a team environment · Lift heavy materials & perform manual labor · Eager and willing to learn and explore new methods of home construction · Understands the importance of safety on the job · Have reliable transportation to get to the factory and build sites Additional Favorable Qualifications Include: · Experience working in a production line · Some experience in finish carpentry The rolls of the position may include, but are not limited to: · Framing and constructing modular homes under the supervision of a plant manager · Installing sheathing material, subfloors, etc · Installing windows · Some finish carpentry Rolls will depend on an individual candidate’s past job experience and capabilities. We are searching for someone with moderate to expert construction background. All open positions are hourly, non-exempt, with pay based on past experience, ability, and motivation. Pay is biweekly.
