Glick’s Exteriors of Gap, PA, is looking to add a Carpenter/Construction Worker to our exterior remodeling construction team. This person will drive our company truck & trailer to and from job sites and work as part of the crew. Starting in 1987, our company built a reputation of excellence within our target market of Chester, Montgomery & Delaware Counties. We offer roofing, siding, window and door replacement, gutters, and decks. Our customers come to us for quality craft and timely completion of projects. We’ve been experiencing steady growth through referrals and marketing and have ambitious goals for our future. Our Carpenter Will: • Pick up a couple of teammates on the way to work • Arrive at the shop at 5:50 am to load the truck • Drive company truck & trailer to the job site (usually within one hour of the shop) • Work with the crew to complete the remodeling project (roofing, siding, decks, windows & doors) • Clean up the job site at the end of the day • Return to the shop by 4:45 pm • Drop off crewmates on the way home • Drive company truck to and from work each day • Have the opportunity to advance as the company continues to grow. Our Ideal Carpenter Is: • Experienced: Has 1+ years of experience working in exterior remodeling or other construction-related industries. We are open to entry-level candidates that want an apprenticeship or skilled candidates looking for a great place to work. • Clean Cut: We work in residential construction and expect our employees to be polite, courteous, and respectful of the client’s home, landscaping, and property. Must use appropriate language – no smoking on the job site. • Dependable: We count on our driver to arrive on time each morning. Must have a clean driving record for the past three years and be willing to undergo a criminal background check & drug test. • Safety Focused: You are responsible for safely operating a company truck & trailer. • Active: Must be able to meet the physical requirements of working on a construction crew – such as climbing a ladder, lifting up to 60 lbs., working from scaffolding, and doing the physical work associated with exterior remodeling. • Light-hearted: We like to have fun together on the job site and in our company outings. We are looking for someone with a good sense of humor who wants to enjoy work.
