Busy locally owned and operated Gas Station and convenience store in Ashburn is hiring Cashiers for its current and new Leesburg Location Opening in March. Full Time And Part Time Available MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS. Minimum age of 21 (due to alcohol and tobacco sale federal and state laws) Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English Capable of being at work as scheduled to relieve prior shift employees Experience in retail sales preferred but willing to train the right candidate Reliable transportation to and from the store. Must be Living within a 10 mile radius of 20147 zip code WILLINGNESS TO: work weekends and holidays, based on business needs Ask customers if they are interested in purchasing additional items (suggestive "plus" selling) Be professional, friendly and helpful to customers, vendors, and co-workers Follow Company policies, as well as State and Federal laws Work alone and with others Work with minimum direction and follow instructions given by supervisor(s) Bend at waist with some twisting during the workday Keep store inventory stocked Stocking cooler & freezer Assisting with deliveries Perform additional duties as required or requested Clean interior/exterior areas (trash disposal, bathrooms, spills, etc.) Properly ring up all sales on a cash register, accurately count back change, handle money, and other types of payment received for products sold.
