JOB SUMMARY: The Concrete Laborer will assist in the pouring, smoothing, and setting of concrete for curb, sidewalk, and other areas. The responsibilities of a Concrete Laborer include delivering materials to the crew, following direction from the concrete foreman or crew lead, and cleaning the area at the end of the day. Other duties as assigned by management. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform all work adhering to OSHA and Company Safety Policy while enforcing these policies. • Maintain all concrete equipment by proactively cleaning and caring for equipment. • Participate in the daily safety toolbox talk with crew. • Participate with all departments to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. • Offloading the truck and gathering tools for the day. • Transporting rakes, shovels, and other concrete equipment to and from site. • Moving the pavement saw to the transverse joint. • Sweeping and cleaning the area. • Measuring and lining out the area for the day. • Assisting the curb machine operator. • Maintaining cleanliness and packing equipment away at the end of the day. • Other duties as assigned.
