Female Singer/Guitarist needed for Sheryl Crow tribute
Meets
Frisco TX
Description
Professional Bassist and Drummer associated with several premium working local tribute acts are seeking our Sheryl Crow to front our newest musical endeavor... we’re looking for a female vocalist (age 25+) with the voice that can at lease match Sheryl Crow husky mezzo-soprano. We definitely prefer someone that has the ability to sing and play guitar, however, if your guitar skills are lacking/nonexistent this is certainly not a deal breaker, but Sheryl Crow does play guitar almost exclusively on all of her songs... also, we’re looking for someone familiar with Sheryl Crow’s nearly 3 decade catalog of music which spans the genres of rock, country, folk, blues, soul and much more... we’re working on assembling a multi-member core band with other musicians that can be added for appropriate gigs. You must be comfortable with very large crowds, have pro equipment, reliable transportation, be able to make rehearsals and understand that gigs primarily happen on the weekend, especially ones that land on holidays and special events etc... we’re only interested in dealing with someone willing to take this group seriously, and be able to make personal sacrifices when it comes to being open to booking dates, so make sure you’re able to answer “yes” to all of these before reaching out to us. We only say all this because we have many years of playing live music in DFW, and are committed to making this a must-see live music act that will most certainly become in high demand once we gain traction... For the right individual, this will be a tremendous opportunity and you will be the face of this band as everyone will be coming out to see YOU. We do this for the love of music and performing live. If you think you’ve got what it takes... We’re eagerly awaiting to hear from you. Please respond with either a link(s) to either audio or video of you performing/singing to secure a call back to secure an in-person audition... And remember... if it makes you happy, it can’t be that bad... right?
