Description

Responsible for the logistical document management of all incoming and outgoing products. Identifies, reconciles, reports, and resolves discrepancies so that physical inventory matches documented inventory. Initiates data entry into the inventory management system(s) and paper filing record systems. Provides expeditious turnaround and processing for truck drivers so that down-time is minimized. Responsible for compiling and maintaining all active customer material releases and relieving the inventory files upon customer receipt Document Control & Management a. Shipping & Receiving: Manage all pipe & tubing and couplings documents such as tallies, work orders, etc. through appropriate management and supervision of physical documents and applicable software data entries. ● Prepare purchase orders and send copies to supplies and to departments originating requests. ● Modify and maintain Release Reports. Reconcile as needed. ● Maintain close contact with common vendors so to influence efficiency. ● Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations. ● Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed, or late deliveries, and other problems. ● Review requisition orders to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications. ● Entry of shipment data into database & hard copy data retention. ● Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports, and price lists.
