CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns closed their facilities Wednesday after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.
The organization announced the positive test on Twitter. Team meetings will take place remotely while officials determine who the positive staffer may have had contact with.
"The team will continue to consult with the league and medical experts on the appropriate next steps as the health and safety of our players, coaches, staff and entire community remains our highest priority," the Browns said in a statement.
The Browns just reactivated star defensive end Myles Garrett after he was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. He missed the team's past two games
Cleveland will take on the Titans in Tennessee at 1 p.m. on Sunday
