Description

All work for this position requires on-the-road traveling. Applicant must perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites including operation of hand and power tools of all types: hammer drills, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring instruments, as well as a variety of other equipment. Basic qualifications include: Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures. Regularly work near moving mechanical parts. Regularly work outside with exposure to heat and humidity as well as cold weather. Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects and tools repetitively. Climb to heights and conduct work with proper safety restraints. Lift heavy loads up to 70 lbs. and navigate construction job site terrain. Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor. Have basic understanding of construction principles and procedures. Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions. Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency. Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials.
