A little bit about us - we are a small online furniture company with delivery service throughout much of the southern United States. We have what you would call a hub and spoke logistics plan for making home deliveries, picking up merchandise locally and delivering it to customers regionally. For example in DFW we are looking to team up with an individual or moving service that has all of their own equipment, can pick up from our wholesale partners in Grand Prairie and deliver to customers in the following cities: DFW Metro Area Wichita Falls Lawton Oklahoma City Tyler/Longview Shreveport We have routes that are scheduled on certain days of the week. For example, Wednesday we'll deliver to all customers in or on the way to - Oklahoma City. That day may look something like this: 8:00AM Call customers to confirm delivery times 8:30AM Load up orders at warehouse 12:00 Arrive in OKC 1:00 - 6:00PM Delivering to customers 9:00PM Arrival back to DFW The next day will be a new route During regular season 3-4 delivery days a week is typical During peak season (March - May) 5-6 delivery days a week is typical All deliveries are DROP OFF ONLY. The merchandise typically comes in boxes which can easily be dollied by one person into the customers home. Most of our delivery drivers run solo. We will assist customers needing the merchandise moved upstairs - some drivers charge for this service. That is at the drivers discretion. We assist the customer - meaning they are responsible for moving upstairs but we will help them. Most drivers use a truck with an enclosed trailer, others use small to medium box trucks.(Recommended enclosed trailer size (16-28ft) (Recommended box truck size 14-20ft) Open trailers are PROHIBITED Drivers collect payments from customers on delivery - payments include credit or debit cards, money orders or cash. Working with a trustworthy partner is essential to our business. We run background checks on all drivers. You have a team of people ready to help you with any questions, concerns or issues that you may have before, during or after making your deliveries. Deliveries typically pay around $100 per delivery This means if we had 10 deliveries in OKC you will earn approximately $1000 for that day, minus your fuel expenses.
