Press release from the Town of Danville: Sept. 2, 2020 As Danville's business community continues to be hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic it is more important than ever to support these small businesses that have become part of the fabric of the community. To help residents stay connected with their local businesses, the Town of Danville has launched a cloud-based digital directory. The new Danville Business Directory https://open.bludot.io/cities/danville/businesses is the digital version of the Live Locally Guide. This user-friendly online business directory allows "Brick and Mortar" businesses to showcase their offerings to residents and visitors by featuring their menu of services, hours, promotional offerings and link customers to their social media platforms. It is easy to search by business types, view a map of business locations, browse current offers and promotions, and even check available delivery/pick-up options available. This online resource is a helpful tool for either those searching for business information or businesses looking to share updates with customers. Directory Highlights: Map view: Fully integrated map view identifying business locations. Searchability: Customers can easily search for businesses using a variety of filters. Flexibility: Cloud-based software provides businesses an easy way to update information or feature the directory directly from their website to customers. Connectivity: Serves as a platform where local businesses and the Town will soon be able to communicate with each other to share best practices, tips, alerts and more.
