I think there are several reasons why people are still talking g about Trump.
1. He is still a threat to this nation.
2. People are riveted to Trump the same way they are riveted to reality TV.
3. People take time to decompress from dramatic events. We still talk about Hurricane Katrina too.
4. Trump is a perfect catalyst for angry people to fixate on. This includes people from both sides. People looking for a "cause" for their outrage cling to the Donald.
5. Personally, I am fascinated by human nature. People amaze me. I sit in public places for no reason other than a to study people. Trump is the holy grail of specimens for people watchers. A true freak.
