DANVILLE, CA — The Peasant & The Pear announced Monday plans to move to a new location this year. The restaurant, currently located at 267 Hartz Ave., will be moving down the street to 111 West Prospect Ave. at an unspecified date. The new site is next to Danville Brewing Company. The Peasant & The Pear was restaurateur Rodney Worth's first acclaimed restaurant. He also operates The Peasant's Courtyard in Alamo.
