Working in a plant Nursery requires alittle bit of everything & most important customer service is top priority. Learning names of PLANTS, PALMS, TREES & SHURBS will come with time... This is NOT an office Job!! Getting dirty, sweaty is what we do. Requires you to be on your toes all day & constantly moving around & assisting customers needs. Im looking for someone who can open & close the business, write up sales invoices, take messages, help customers with landscaping needs, cover the nursery when your by yourself & Stay busy without constant assistance. Most important Can be trusted if at the nursery alone. Loading/ unloading trucks, putting away plant inventory & heavy lifting at times. This is an outside Job 24/7 in all weather conditions which can be challenging & hard but is also very peaceful, calming with all the nature your surrounded by. This position is not just about maintenance of plants, your mainly dealing with customers, making sales & checking out customers which is the most important part of this business... We keep our staff small, we are drama FREE work place & take what we do seriously. We're e not interested in temporary help. We're looking for someone that would be apart of our small team & treat this nursery as if it was your own. We also ask that you keep all personal situations at home & don't bring them to work.. This is a work place to break free from your Daily struggles, not part of it. Positive, productive & peaceful environment. Helping customers pick out plants for flower beds, potted planters & recommendations on landscaping ideas from pictures they have. Cleaning plant debris, raking leaves,, pulling weeds, sweeping, trimming plants, pricing inventory, maintaining plants, & making sales. If you have allergies, back, knee, shoulder or neck issues or problems this is Not the job for you.. If you are sensitive, fragile or feelings get hurt easy this is not the job for you.. This job requires mental toughness & its tough on your body.. We get cuts, scraps, bruises, poked & deal with thorny plants on a daily basis....
