A workshop for chicken keepers with some experience to learn more about flock maintenance and treating issues that arise. Join us for our Level 2 Workshop. This workshop is for current chicken keepers or chicken keepers with some previous experience looking to further understand health issues in their flock, how to treat those issues, and ways to further prevent them. Some issues discussed are different kinds of mites, worms, parasites, bumble foot, respiratory infections, molting, broody hens, introducing new birds, and more. You’ll be sent home with a booklet of your own with reference points and support for a year. Join Lisa Samples from Cedar Crest Farm and Carly Keserich from The Homestead for a three-hour workshop from 11 am-2pm.
