AATS is sponsoring a clinic to train participants to teach tennis to young children.
The Annapolis Area Tennis School (AATS) is sponsoring a free clinic for tennis instructors on Saturday, March 26 from 3:30 - 5:00 pm at Sport Fit Bowie, 100 Marsh Park Dr, Bowie, MD 20715, 301-262-4553. This clinic will be led by a certified instructor from the USTA Mid-Atlantic Section with deep experience and knowledge in working with children.
The clinic is a 90-minute, interactive, workshop on-court. It is designed to show coaches how to develop the ABC¹s (Agility, Balance, Coordination and Speed) young children. This workshop will prepare the participant to develop a love for tennis in children, to help them learn sound fundamentals, and to get them to rally quickly. The clinic will cover class organization, dealing with groups, and working with children with different capability.
Registration is limited to 25 attendees. Plan to arrive 15 minutes early to check in and to get ready for the session.
Thank you, AATS
